Mr. Bishnu Prasad Gautam
Mr. Bishnu Prasad Gautam is a young Non Residential Nepali (NRN) residing in Japan and is the ex-student of WAKHOK University, Japan. Currently, besides being the Vice Chairman of WAKHOK-Nepal, he successfully leads the activities of the International Department of WAKHOK University, Japan as the Director of the same.
Mr. Gautam has a deep sense of responsibility towards his country and with the awareness that Nepal is lacking the pace of ICT development even in the midst of 21st century; he has undertaken this grave challenge of aggrandizing the ICT sectors of the same. With his big vision and indefatigable pursuit, during his tenure as a student of the University itself, he had been able to gain the confidence of the University to support him in order to achieve this Herculean purpose. And, together with the active support of Prof. Maruyama Fujio, he is now being engaged in lots of exemplary activities for the development of the ICT sectors of the country. With the aim to foster the quality IT education to the students of Nepal, he has initiated the collaboration of the WAKHOK University with five leading Computer Engineering and IT colleges of Nepal, whereby a plan had been devised to render contemporary IT education to the Nepalese students from the University in the especially considered price. Moreover, he has spearheaded the development of ICT sectors of Nepal with the organization of seminars and IT conferences to foster the IT skills of the young generations of the country. He has been actively associated with a number of academic institutions of the country.
His pursuit is relentless, and currently his focus is also on WAKHOK-Nepal where he stands as a Vice-President of the same. He holds a degree in Bachelor in Information Technology from WAKHOK University, Japan and now is pursuing his Masters program in Computer Engineering from Sinshu University, Hokkaido, Japan. During his term as student of WAKHOK University, he had been honored with the President Award of the University due to his exemplary conduct and diligence.
